Expressive Christmas Wrapping Paper | Jonathan Lawes | Wednesday 4th December 2019
Come and create your own hand screen printed wrapping paper just in time for Christmas! During the 3 hour workshop you will be able to let your imagination run wild and produce a variety of different festive related designs.
Participants will start off by creating their desired stencils using newsprint. Instead of exposing a screen with emulsion the entire workshop will be done with hand-cut paper stencils allowing greater freedom and variety of designs.
Once the designs are ready, you will be guided through colour mixing ideas and shown how to transfer your design from screen to wrapping paper using the screen printing process.
Participants will be able to use as many colours and different designs as they please and will leave with the materials to wrap the best Christmas presents in London!
