Our second workshop in our Meet the Maker series was with textile designer and fashion illustrator Helen Bullock. Her signature expressive and painterly illustrative style has earned her collaborations with everyone from Anthropologie to Louis Vuitton.

Kate Alexander Design is a studio based inside 3rd Rail Print Space specialising in original yarn dye plaid and stripe designs for menswear, womenswear, childrenswear and home furnishing. Etemi Otubu is a Budapest-born sewing enthusiast and our studio neighbour at the buzzing Peckham Levels. You may have seen Etemi at the 3rd Rail Print Space launch event, sewing freshly screen printed fabric into various textile products. Having settled in Peckham, the designer developed a true passion for craft and sustainable fashion. We recently caught up with her to learn a little bit more about her inspiration and all things DIY.
London-based illustrator Tony Riff learned to draw by copying different styles of cartoons which has helped him to develop his own whimsical style. His work can be described as ‘a colourful mixture of mind blowing, intellectual & playful drawings’. We have asked Tony to create a t-shirt design exclusively for 3rd Rail Print Space Kickstarter. We have asked some of our favourite artists to create t-shirts exclusively for the 3rd Rail Print Space Kickstarter. One of contributing illustrators is Sam Taylor who has worked with global brands including The New Yorker, Google and Nike. We caught up with him briefly to get a better idea of his design process, inspiration and career plans.
