Getting To Know Our Staff WFH
Since closing our doors due to the current COVID-19 situation, we asked our staff WFH who you should be following, what creative things to do when self-isolating and what playlists they’re currently loving. If you’re curious to find out then read on!
Hey, I’m Holly the Studio Manager at 3rd Rail Print Space.
I’m in charge of everything with regards to memberships, online purchases and our workshop program.
1. An account you think everyone should be following?
I follow @oh_salvation, which gives me information and positivity, also as I’m a freelancer it helps me connect
with her people.
2. Something you’ve seen that is fun/creative to do at home when self-isolating?
I follow @mollymahonblockprinting she has done some amazing potato printing workshops not only for adults but also for kids, using the basic potato and any water based fabric ink can also be done on paper.
3. A playlist you are listening to when WFH?
My playlist I’m following right now is SDSC by Alicethatcher_
Hello! I’m Mel, I work on the Live Events side of 3rd Rail, as well as teaching weekend workshops at Print Space.
We bring live print to events and retail spaces to spread the love for screen printing!
1. An account you think everyone should be following?
I follow the fab insta acc- @_miki_kim_ she’s an illustrator and tattoo artist I love- I got my first tattoo from her
and she’s super cute!
2. Something you’ve seen that is fun/creative to do at home when self-isolating?
We started gardening, planting some herbs and veg, it was looking sad on our terrace and a good way to get some sun without leaving the house! Also been painting furniture in my room to make working from home a little more colourful!
3. A playlist you are listening to when WFH?
Been listening to Jhené Aiko’s new album, and lots of podcasts.
Hello, I’m Lewis I’m Head of Events
and I am in charge of developing and providing live printing activations for events and retail spaces.
1. An account you think everyone should be following?
@hellomynameiswednesday is one of my favourite people to follow on Instagram. Their art is so personal and beautiful and really helps connect me with the wider queer community when we are all so separated right now.
2. Something you’ve seen that is fun/creative to do at home when self-isolating?
Outside of wfh I have just been playing the new Animal Crossing game. While the real world is uncertain and full of anxiety my island on Animal Crossing is a relaxing escape where I can catch some fish, design clothing and live the ultimate millennial fantasy of being a homeowner with a mortgage.
3. A playlist you are listening to when WFH?
Haven’t been listening to anything super specific just a random mix of things. Charlie XCX, The Beach Boys and Belle And Sebastian have featured pretty heavily in the flat with the occasional intermission of silence so my boyfriend can have a video meeting with his colleagues.

Print Space, Print Social and Live Print.
1. An account you think everyone should be following?
The Happy Newspaper is one of my favourite accounts to follow, especially at a time like this when we could all do with a dose of happy news in our daily routine.
2. Something you’ve seen that is fun/creative to do at home when self-isolating?
Supermundane has been uploading an A4 design each day for the next 36 days that will all link up to make a huge double A0 colouring page. A perfect opportunity for you to get away from your screens, dig out your colouring pens and get creative.
3. A playlist you are listening to when WFH?
The playlist I’ve had on repeat has been High Fidelity Official Playlist, after finishing the series last week I’ve been OBSESSED. (Also another thing for you to do when in self-isolation watch the series!!)
Hey, I’m Katie – and I manage Print Social which is a pre sale garment platform.
I manage the complete campaign process from lead generation through to production and customer aftercare.
As well as maintain and create partnerships with charities and develop Print Social’s brand throughout all social media platforms.
1. An account you think everyone should be following?
@lectureinprogress has just launched a mini series on stories called “Good Morning, Good Night”. This is to punctuate the start and end of these new and unfamiliar working days. They’re calling upon a range of creatives to take over their stories with a morning dose of motivation and a takeaway note at night. Hoping that we feel inspired for the day ahead or ready for the next.
2. Something you’ve seen that is fun/creative to do at home when self-isolating?
For anyone who hasn’t found the utter joy of @caenhillccanimals and their morning ‘rush hour’ then you’re in for a treat. Featuring the farm animals and their day to day lives. Something to take your mind off all of the chaos.
3. A playlist you are listening to when WFH?
Here Comes The Sun- Taking a trip down memory lane with these absolute classics –
