Having successfully raised over £10.000 on Kickstarter, we are excited to announce our launch event will be held next week, on Thursday 25th January at the recently opened Peckham Levels. We’ve been working around the clock in the studio to turn the unused carpark space into a comprehensive screen printing studio. We have prepared a wide range of exciting events for the opening night to give new members and visitors a taste of what’s to come.
Multi-talented Daisy Emerson is an illustrator, sign writer, hand-letterer and type enthusiast from London. An established hand-letterer has worked with some of the world’s leading companies and brands including Facebook, Google and Adidas. We had a chat with Daisy about the design she created for our Kickstarter campaign and her love of pastel colours.

London-based illustrator Tony Riff learned to draw by copying different styles of cartoons which has helped him to develop his own whimsical style. We have asked some of our favourite artists to create t-shirts exclusively for the 3rd Rail Print Space Kickstarter. One of contributing illustrators is Sam Taylor who has worked with global brands including The New Yorker, Google and Nike. We caught up with him briefly to get a better idea of his design process, inspiration and career plans.
We’re 3rd Rail Print Space and we’re launching London’s biggest open access screen printing facility in the heart of Peckham. The 4000sqft unit will combine paper, fabric and t-shirt printing along with desk and private studio spaces. Our dream is to build a comprehensive print hub and modern learning environment capable of facilitating everyone from curious novices to seasoned print professionals.
